The involvement of a government official in the rave party case that created a sensation in Hyderabad has come to light. The police raided a service apartment in Kondapur and arrested six people who were partying with drugs. The police have identified that a Deputy Tehsildar Mandideep from AP Rajahmundry East Godavari district played a key role in this case.
Madhapur DCP Dr. G. Vineeth revealed the details of this case to the media yesterday. According to his details, the police received solid information that a rave party was being held at the Rajarajeshwari Nilayam service apartment in Kondapur on Sunday night. With this, the Telangana Eagle Team and Gachibowli Police jointly conducted raids. In this raid, Teja, Vikram, Neelima, wine shop owner Purushottam Reddy, software engineer Bhargav, and engineering student Chandan were arrested. 20 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of ecstasy pills, and 3 grams of MDMA were seized from them.
During the investigation, the accused revealed sensational facts. It was found that all of them used to go to parties organized by Manideep, who works as a deputy tehsildar in Rajahmundry. They came into contact with Rahul, a drug supplier from Bangalore, at a party organized by Manideep in Goa last year. Since then, the accused admitted that they had been buying drugs from Rahul and holding parties in Hyderabad. The police said that Rahul used to send drugs to them through engineering student Chandan.
DCP Vineet clarified that Rahul, who supplied the drugs, and Deputy Tehsildar Manideep are currently absconding and they have also been included as accused in this case. He said that among those arrested, Vikram was also caught in a drug case earlier. The police said that search operations have been intensified for the absconding accused.
