RVS Ramachandra Rao’s services in the Information Department of the Andhra Pradesh State Government were commendable. His long service of 39 years as a coordinator for both the government and the media representatives earned him a good reputation in his carrier
Today, a grand felicitation ceremony was held at the Anam Kala Kendram in Rajahmundry on the occasion of his retirement.
On this occasion, several senior former officials of the Information Department and journalists who have served in various newspapers in the media sector praised Ramachandra Rao’s services.
Assistant Director R.V.S. Ramachandra Rao, who has rendered distinguished services in reaching the people with the development and welfare programs of the government, said P. Thimmappa, Regional Joint Director, Information & Public Relations Department, Zone-2.
Speaking on the occasion, P. Thimmappa said that the Information Department plays a key role in effectively taking the government’s development and welfare programs to the people.
Retired Additional Director L. Swarnalatha said that Ramachandra Rao performed his duties in a manner that always maintained coordination with the media representatives and enhanced the prestige of the department.
Journalists and speakers praised Ramachandra Rao for always maintaining cordial relations with the media representatives and providing special assistance in gathering news and providing government information in a timely manner. He was recognized as a person who was accessible to everyone and was humble.
Speaking on the occasion, R.V.S. Ramachandra Rao said that his four decades of service in the Information Department gave him great satisfaction and that he was able to discharge his responsibilities effectively only due to the cooperation of his colleagues and the encouragement of his superiors. He stated that he would be ready to provide services to the society if required.
The program was presided over by Rajamahendravaram Information Department Assistant Director M. Lakshmanacharyulu.
