The CM assured the parents of the students not to worry about the health condition of the students of the Annaparru BC Hostel in AP, saying that all measures are being taken to protect the health of the students in the hospital.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu spoke to Minister Savita and officials on Saturday regarding the health condition of the students of Annaparru BC Boys Hostel in Pedanandipadu mandal of Guntur district. He inquired about the reasons for the students’ illness. Currently, there are 24 students in Guntur General Hospital. Of these, one student has other health problems and is being treated in the ICU, the officials explained to the CM.
He said that all but two of those who were treated at the Pedanandipadu medical camp have been discharged. The CM asked how the health condition of the students is currently. The minister said that the health of the students is stable. A student in the ICU is being given better treatment… However, officials said that the student was shifted to Mangalagiri AIIMS Hospital on the advice of experts.
The Chief Minister ordered that the students should be discharged from the hospital only after their health improves completely. The CM inquired about the facilities, quality of food and good water supply in the Annaparru hostel. Minister Savita said that a sanitation program is being carried out in the hostel including the entire Annaparru village.
Officials told the Chief Minister that doctors initially told them that the incident was caused by food poisoning. Minister Savita brought to the attention of the CM that water and food samples have been sent to the lab for testing. The Chief Minister ordered the Minister and officials to keep him informed about the condition of the students in the hospital.

The CM suggested that action be taken based on the lab reports. The Chief Minister announced that no parents of the students should worry. The CM assured that steps are being taken to protect the health of the students in the hospital.
