State Women’s Commission Chairperson Dr. Rayapati Sailaja has called for democracy to stand when the Constitution of India is considered as the Bhagavad Gita and implemented. She said that the central and state governments are working to ensure that the fruits of the constitution reach everyone as part of a developed India.

A major ceremony of Lifetime Achievement Awards and Awards was held in Vijayawada on Tuesday under the auspices of the Pan Indian Socio-Culture Organization to celebrate the Constitution Protection Day for prominent figures in various fields in both the Telugu states.

Dr. Rayapati Sailaja spoke as the chief guest at the inaugural function held under the chairmanship of Sri Sri Kalavedika International CEO Dr. Kathimanda Pratap. He said that the central and state governments led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu are implementing many welfare schemes and doing good for the people.

He said that the free bus travel through the Stree Shakti scheme introduced by the coalition government for the advancement of women in the state is very beneficial. He said that many welfare schemes are being implemented to empower women economically. He explained that steps are being taken to solve the problems faced by women from time to time.

Legislative Council member Somu Veerraju said that the schemes being implemented jointly by the central and state governments as part of Vikasit Bharat-2047 are working to further empower the people economically.

He said that India has set its goals in economic growth, sustainable development goals, infrastructure, social welfare, ease of doing business and living.

Former Secretary of AP Media Academy M. Balagangadarthilak, Sri Vigyan Vedika Pounder Cherukuwada Rangasai, Dr. Paul Raj Engineering College Chairperson V. Varalakshmi, architecture expert KV Reddy and others spoke. The event was organized by Addanki Raja, founder of the Pan Indian organization.
