Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that welfare is not a donation to the poor… it is a way for their development and empowerment. He said that all means should be used to reduce economic inequalities.

As part of the first day of the Collectors’ Conference held at the fifth block of the State Secretariat on Monday, CM Chandrababu reviewed issues such as the government’s flagship programs, implementation of Super Six schemes, and the performance of Dwacra and Mepma groups.  Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “Despite financial difficulties, the coalition government is giving top priority to welfare. We are spending funds in a balanced manner on welfare and development sectors. We are also taking steps towards development by making capital expenditure.

As promised, we have provided Annadata Sukhibhav scheme and Talaki Vandam to everyone. Collectors should rectify the minor shortcomings that arise in the provision of assistance to beneficiaries. 16,347 jobs have been provided to the youth through Mega DSC. We have already provided jobs to more than 6,000 in the police department. We will identify and fill vacancies in government departments. The Supreme Court has cancelled GO-3, which provided jobs only to local tribal youth in agency areas. We are thinking about what to do about this.

Similarly, we are attracting investments to create jobs in the private sector. Job fairs should be organized in the districts to create jobs for the youth.” The Chief Minister explained. Free travel in RTC buses has been a success for women’s empowerment. Costs will be reduced with EV buses.  RTC can generate revenue through the construction of commercial complexes and cargo. We are spending Rs. 33 thousand crores annually through the NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme. On October 1, we will provide financial assistance of Rs. 15 thousand to 3 lakh auto drivers.”  Chandrababu said.

We should ensure that the best results are achieved in class 10 with the facilities available in schools. Students studying higher education have the opportunity to take any loan from the center at subsidized interest rates. Formulate policies so that the state government bears the burden of that interest.

Collectors should definitely visit welfare hostels. The food, water, blankets and basic facilities provided to students should be improved. Estimate the cost of renovating all welfare hostels. If necessary, sleep at night and change the conditions there. There is no shortage of funds to improve SC, ST and BC hostels. More efforts should be made to ensure that students studying in SC and ST hostels secure seats in prestigious institutions like IIT and IIM.

Students who have already studied in hostels are securing seats in prestigious institutions. That number should increase further. Collectors should focus in that direction.

Collectors should take up governance in a new direction with their talent.  Integrate P4, DWACR, MEPMA and move forward. Let us see to what extent the living standards have increased with the help given through programs like DWACR, MEPMA and P4. We should work to increase the per capita income in all areas and communities of the state.” Chandrababu revealed.

Companies like ArcelorMittal, TCS, Google are coming to Uttarandhra. Large-scale industries are coming from Lepakshi to Orvakal in Rayalaseema. Industries are coming with Sri City as well as Tirupati as the center. An economic ecosystem will be established through the establishment of tourism circuits. .If seaweed culture is taken up logically, there is a possibility of huge economic benefits. The use of seaweed in various forms including biofuel has increased. If necessary, let us set up a special department for it.The Chief Minister said.
