State Deputy Chief Minister  Pawan Kalyan has been gently telling officials not to give bouquets and drape shawls during his visits.

Fruit baskets and mementos are given. They also say that none of these are allowed. Whether the employees are spending their own money or spending protocol funds for these..

The Deputy Chief Minister is of the opinion that such courtesy and hospitality should not be a burden on anyone directly or indirectly.

During Thursday’s visit, the Chittoor district administration fully implemented Shri Pawan Kalyan’s ideas. Officials and public representatives did not give bouquets or drape shawls.

Pawan Kalyan congratulated the officials saying that he was happy that there was no rush for bokes and shawls. Shri Pawan Kalyan has told the officials as well as the party leaders many times that they do not want bokes and shawls.

He advised the ranks  to spend the money spent on them on service programs…that’s Pawan Kalyan.
