The Commissioners of all the municipalities in the state should give top priority to solid and liquid waste management…Minister Narayana inaugurated a state-level workshop on IEC and capacity building under the auspices of Swachhandra Corporation on the awareness to be created among the people for the achievement of clean cities…After that, Minister Narayana spoke to the media. The Commissioners of all the municipalities in the state should give top priority to solid waste and liquid waste management Municipal  Commissioners should play a key role.He said that officials and people should work together to achieve a clean Andhra under Swachh Bharat.

Every third Saturday of the month, Chandrababu Naidu personally participates in some areas and creates awareness among the people. The Swachh Andhra campaign requires awareness among the people and their cooperation.The Municipal Commissioners should discuss with the Swachh Knowledge Partners selected by the Central Government and take steps to implement them at the grassroots level… It is a matter of pride that 5 cities in the state have received Swachh Survekshan awards… Minister Narayana congratulated the officers and staff of the municipalities who received the awards.

Minister Narayana said that the previous government left behind 85 lakh tonnes of garbage in the state.

He said that all this garbage will be completely removed by the second of October. On the other hand, he said that the newly arrived 20 lakh tonnes of garbage will also be completely removed by December and turned into a legacy waste free state…

He said that the solid waste that comes in the state every day is being transferred to waste to energy plants. In addition to the existing waste of energy plants in Visakhapatnam and Guntur, a new one will be  Minister Narayana said that plants are also being set up in Kadapa, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry and Tirupati…

He said that if all these plants are made available, the state will become dumping yard-free. He also said that sewage treatment plants will be set up within two years for liquid waste management… He said that drinking water pipelines will be completed with the funds of the Amrut scheme…

He said that the Singapore government has come forward to cooperate with Amaravati along with the World Bank… He also said that the CM has invited Singaporean companies to come to the partnership meeting to be held in Visakhapatnam… Later, CRDA will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore government  Minister Narayana said that the Commissioner will make arrangements after writing the official letter.
