Leading industrialist and MLC Vanka Ravindranath (Tanuku) has written a letter to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu asking the coalition government to look at all the industries in the state of Andhra Pradesh with a single eye and to take steps to ensure that government subsidies are provided to all industries without looking at them from a political angle.

Rabindranath said that due to the disparity in government subsidies to industries and the lack of consideration for industries, industrialists have become discouraged.

Ravindranath said that industries not only generate income for the government but also provide employment to the unemployed, and that Chandrababu should not look at the industries that have been established politically.

Last month, before Diwali, the government released some of the incentives that were supposed to come from the state. These incentives will provide some relief to the financial burden of spinning mills, which are the main industries in the state, but some people have received them in one way, some in another way, and some have not received them at all, said Ravindranath.

These incentives are not based on the priority of the application, but the concerned officials are unable to say who, how much and how they have decided.

40 percent have been deposited for 92 companies, 20 percent for 43 companies, but. Not even 1 percent has been deposited for another 15 companies, he questioned.

Even though the list of incentives to be given to the industry is complete, Ravindranath appealed to examine why this difference was shown. The industry community is also concerned about not giving a single rupee to 15 highly valued industries and giving only 20 percent to 43 companies.

The state government is going to organize an investor  meet with great ambition this month. At a time like this, if some industries are deliberately facing financial difficulties without proper procedures, then new entrepreneurs should have faith in the state government, he said.

“It is a special feature that some of the 15 companies were presented in the MoU by the then Chief Minister himself in the 2018 investors’ meet. He said that even though incentives have been sanctioned to such companies,  why they were not given should be examined”

In response to a question raised in the House that in the “last Legislative Council, the government had allocated about 200 crores to only 3 of the newly formed institutions, MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas reminded that the House had also been assured that incentives would be given on a first-in-first-out basis. But what happened” ., he said.

Keeping in mind the development of industries and taking employment of the unemployed as the main objective, out of the 1000 crores that you will soon release, you have requested in a letter to the Chief Minister to release 206.49 crores to the 15 institutions that have stopped their subsidies and release the remaining amount to 43 institutions in equal amounts.
