The state government has made all arrangements to hold the 77th Republic Day celebrations on Monday morning, January 26. The State Governor Abdul Nazeer Ahmed will be the chief guest for the Republic Day celebrations, and the State Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, state ministers, honorable High Court judges, and farmers who gave their lands for the capital city will be present as guests.

On Saturday morning, a grand full-dress rehearsal of the 77th Republic Day parade was conducted. State DGP Harish Kumar Gupta and Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department J. Shyamala Rao attended the parade rehearsal and inspected the parade.

The DGP received the guard of honor from Jangareddygudem ASP and Parade Commander R. Susmitha and unfurled the national flag.

Earlier, Indian Army Naib Subedar L.K. Prasad, Kurnool APSP 2nd Battalion Reserve Inspector GV Rami Reddy, CRPF Reserve Inspector Chenveer Gowda, Kerala Armed Police CV Jan San, SV Ramana from Visakhapatnam APSP 16th Battalion, TV. Ramana from APSP 11th Battalion in the AP Brass Band, and S. from APSP 6th Battalion participated. Srinivasulu,

Subedar Mohanty commanded the Indian Army Pipe Band, G.V. Subbarao commanded the NCC Boys, Revathi commanded the NCC Girls, K. Suneeth Kumar commanded the AP Social Welfare contingent, Y. Ishaq Raju from AP Model School, Panyam commanded the Bharat Scouts and Guides, and P. Sai Rohit commanded the Youth Red Cross. The various contingents performed a full-dress rehearsal parade. Twenty-two tableaux from various departments were displayed showcasing the various development and welfare schemes being implemented by the state government.

These included tableaux from the Department of Culture with the theme of 150 years of Vande Mataram; the Planning Department and SERP (Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty) with the theme of a poverty-free society under the Ten-Point Mission; the Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education Departments, and the Women and Child Welfare Department with the theme of Population Management & Human Resource Development; the Skill Development Corporation,

the School Education Department, the Industries Department, and the Tourism Department with the theme of Skilling & Employment; the Water Resources Development Department, Micro Irrigation, and Forest Department with the theme of Water Security; the Agriculture Department and Fisheries Department with the theme of Farmer – Agri Tech; the Infrastructure & Investments, Maritime and Aviation sectors,

and CRDA with the theme of Global-Best Logistics; NEDCAP (Energy) with the theme of Cost Optimization – Energy & Fuel; the Handlooms and Textiles Department and Horticulture Department with the theme of Product Perfection; the Municipal & Urban Development Department (Swachh Andhra Corporation) and Panchayat Raj & Rural Development Department with the theme of Swachh Andhra; and RTGS with the theme of Deep Tech – All Walks of Life. (RTGS) floats representing various departments were prepared.

Guntur District Collector A. Thameem Ansari, SP Vakul Jindal, Joint Collector Ashutosh Srivastava, police officers, senior officials from various departments, district officials, and others participated in the parade’s full dress rehearsals.
