New Delhi: Dr. Suryadevara Mahendra Dev, a renowned economist from Tummapudi in Guntur district of AP, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM).
Currently a director of Axis Bank, Mahendra Dev has previously served as the Director (Vice-Chancellor) of the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research and the Chairman of the Central Agricultural Produce Price Determination Committee
