(Bengaluru) A video of Karnataka state senior police officer DGP Ramachandra Rao kissing a woman in his government office has gone viral.The Karnataka government has taken this incident very seriously.
Since the video surfaced, the Karnataka Police Department has been shocked. Such officers are being described as a black mark on the department. Meanwhile, Home Minister Parameshwara expressed strong anger towards the DGP and said that serious action would be taken . Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has sought a report on the matter
Ramachandra Rao, who is currently working as DCRE, was seen kissing a woman in his department uniform while in his office. Various videos are circulating, including those with a woman in a suit.
Siddaramaiah has taken action after the case of sexual misconduct by a senior police officer in a government office came to light.
On the other hand, Ramachandra Rao gave his first response regarding this case, saying that it was a conspiracy against him and that he was unaware of it.
The video of DGP Ramachandra Rao’s alleged illicit affair has caused considerable embarrassment to the state government. Some officers have already been suspended on charges of involvement in drugs and criminal activities in Karnataka state recently.
Now, the Karnataka Home Ministry has taken serious note of the fact that a senior officer engaging in such conduct in a government office has become a source of humiliation for the government.
