Culture Minister Kandula Durgesh participated as the chief guest in the “Amaravathi Children’s Festival” held at Siddhartha College in Vijayawada on Tuesday.
He personally inspected the essay writing, elocution, dance, dance and drawing competitions organized for the students. He specially congratulated the children in the costumes of Kantara, Bharat Mata, Rani Rudramadevi and Rythu. He gave an encouraging speech to the students.
In the current situation where restrictions are imposed on the aspirations of children, creativity and personality development among children, education He said that children’s festivals contribute to progress, to uncover the talents of students and to enhance morality.
He said that students should participate, only then will the hidden potential within them be revealed. He suggested that teachers also need to know the interests of children and change their teaching style accordingly.
Parents should encourage their children in the areas of their interest without imposing their preferences on them. He instilled enthusiasm in the students that if there is perseverance and determination in the students, they can achieve 100 percent success. Minister Durgesh suggested that students should move towards the goal and excel in all fields including education, only then will they grow into perfect students.
