The farmers’ groups expressed their special gratitude to Minister Durgash for the decision taken by the Andhra Pradesh coalition government on a war footing regarding the additional purchase of paddy harvested by farmers in Nidadavolu.

State Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh said in a statement on Thursday that an additional 8300 metric tonnes of paddy will be purchased in Nidadavolu constituency. As part of this, 3800 metric tonnes of paddy will be collected in Undrajavaram mandal, 3500 metric tonnes in Nidadavolu mandal, and 1000 metric tonnes in Peravali mandal.
Minister Durgesh revealed the details of the paddy purchase on this occasion. In Nidadavolu mandal, 110 metric tons of paddy are being collected in Korumamidi-1, 400 in Singavaram, 180 in Tallapalem, 200 in D. Muppavaram, 400 in Pandalaparru, 150 in Korupalli, 200 in Atlapadu, 40 in Vijjeswaram, 715 in Samishragudem-2, 30 in Gopavaram, 200 in Kansalipalem, 80 in Purushottapalli, 400 in Samishragudem-1, 75 in Munipalli, 200 in Shettipeta, 90 in Ravimetla, and 30 metric tons of paddy are being collected in Tadimalla-2.
Minister Durgesh said that 50 metric tons of grain will be procured from Kanur-1 in Peravali mandal, 100 from Pittala Vemavaram, 50 from Nadupalli, 150 from Kapavaram, 50 from Malleswaram, 220 from Peravali-1, 180 from Kanur Agraharam, 120 from Mukkamala-1, 50 from Ajjaram, and 30 from Annavarappadu.

Minister Kandula Durgesh said that 400 metric tons of grain will be procured from Satyawada in Undrajavaram mandal, 690 from Mortha, 945 from Pasalapudi, 945 from Kaldari, 60 from Palangi, 140 from Vadlur, 50 from Velivennu, 60 from Tadiparru, 450 from Undrajavaram, and 60 from Dammenu.
The farmers are expressing their happiness over the prompt action taken by Minister Durgesh. The farmers thanked Minister Durgesh for his willingness to procure surplus paddy from farmers at the government price.
