Education Minister Nara Lokesh is keeping his promise to pay the dues of the previous government in installments. The coalition government, which has reduced the burden on parents with the implementation of the old fee reimbursement policy, has so far released fee reimbursement dues worth Rs. 1788 crore, said Telugu Desam Party state spokesperson Patarla Ramesh.
Steps have been taken to ensure that the certificates of 10 lakh students who are stuck in various colleges in the state are given to the students. Instructions have been given to the colleges that action will be taken if students are harassed for fees. Ramesh said that universities are being brought under a single law to provide better employment opportunities to the youth. He said that there will be permission for night polytechnic courses and the revival of the NTR Vidyonnathi scheme.
Thousands of good youth are being trained by signing agreements with organizations like Nasscom Future Skills and EduSkills.
During the 2014-2019 TDP regime, fee reimbursement was given to 16 lakh students annually, but during the Jagan Reddy regime, it was given to only 9 lakh people in installments, and nearly 7 lakh poor students were cheated. He criticized that Jagan Reddy, the leader of the YSRCP gang of thieves, who is robbing Jagan and running nefarious politics by sitting in the Bangalore palace, should answer about the dues he has paid. He demanded that he answer about the loot.

Isn’t it the Jagan Reddy government that has drowned the children who studied PGs? He questioned. Patarla Ramesh criticized those who needed certificates for jobs and higher studies for taking loans and paying fees.
