The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has created a record in revenue. On January 19th, it earned a revenue of Rs. 27.68 crore in a single day. This is the highest daily revenue record in the history of APSRTC. On January 19th, a record 50.6 lakh people traveled on APSRTC buses.

With the Sankranthi holidays ending, people were returning from their native places.  In this context, APSRTC arranged special additional buses to ensure that passengers did not face any difficulties.

Hundreds of special buses were operated across the state, transporting passengers to their destinations. APSRTC Vice Chairman & Managing Director Dwaraka Tirumala Rao specially congratulated all the drivers, conductors, garage staff, supervisors, and officers who contributed to this extraordinary success.

Meanwhile, APSRTC officials, having anticipated the problems people would face during their return journey after Sankranthi, formulated special plans.  Through measures such as increasing bus schedules, deploying additional staff, and simplifying online bookings, passengers were able to reach their destinations safely and comfortably.
