Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the coalition government is moving forward with the Panchasutra plan to make agriculture profitable and support the food provider.
He said that the Raithanna…for your program was launched to create awareness on the Panchasutras. He said that the government is giving top priority to farmer welfare and is working towards the development of every farmer family. The Chief Minister participated in the Raithanna for your program in Nallajarla, Gopalapuram constituency of East Godavari district. Andhra Pradesh.
Agriculture is our strength. 62 percent of the people in the state depend on agriculture and allied sectors for their livelihood. That is why we have been trying to make cultivation profitable since day one, said Chief Minister Chandrababu.
We are an agriculture-based state. Agriculture should become profitable. Farmers should get remunerative prices. Telangana has a 60 percent service sector. There, the income from agriculture is 14 percent. Agriculture and allied sectors have a share of 34 percent in our state’s GSDP. Farmers should focus on agriculture as well as allied sectors.
Also, if we can increase groundwater, there will be no drought. In the coming days, we will join Godavari in Vamsadhara. We will also take it to Penna. This year, 7 thousand TMC of water went into the sea in vain. 1500 TMC of water went into the sea from Krishna. If we can use 200 TMC of this water, there will be no drought, the CM said.
If we can make the land a reservoir and increase groundwater, there will be no drought. If water is given from Polavaram Right Canal, the groundwater in this area will increase. As of December 1, the groundwater level in the entire state was 6.8 meters, while East Godavari district had 18 meters. The reason for this is the land here.
The groundwater level in East Godavari, Eluru and Prakasam districts has decreased. Water from Krishna and Godavari in the state is flowing into the sea in vain. We will connect these two and provide irrigation water to every acre.
Chief Minister Chandrababu said that we will ensure that there is no shortage of water for agriculture, drinking water as well as industries.
Farmers should cultivate crops that are in demand. Different crops should be cultivated in innovative ways. Farmers should be made aware of which crops are in demand, where the market is, and what new methods are available in cultivation. Farmers who have intercropped are getting profits. If the use of fertilizers is high, the cost increases. The CM said that some farmers in Chittoor district have made good profits by covering mangoes and taking precautions to prevent them from getting infected with insects.
Agriculture will become profitable with the use of technology. Even if one crop is paddy, if another crop is horticulture, the income will increase. We are setting up an MSME park in the constituency. We are taking steps to ensure that farmers sell the crops they grow directly to the consumer.
Obstacles are natural in the process of bringing reforms in governance. When I promoted IT, there were criticisms. When Dwakra associations were set up, they were ridiculed. But today, we are seeing what their results are.

We are giving equal priority to welfare and development. At the partnership conference held in Visakhapatnam, investments of Rs. 13.25 lakh crore were received. A Google data center has already come to Visakhapatnam. We are committed to creating 20 lakh jobs. CM Chandrababu Naidu clarified that we are leading the state on the path of development with central cooperation and that the dream of Swarnandhra will be realized by 2047.
