It is estimated that a large number of devotees will attend the upcoming Godavari Pushkarams. Therefore, meticulous plans must be formulated for the Pushkaram arrangements starting now, and micro-level plans should be prepared, especially for the bathing ghats, said Chief Secretary Vijayanand.

Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand has directed the secretaries to prepare stringent plans from now itself for the arrangements for the Godavari Pushkarams, which will be held from June 26 to July 7.
A committee of secretaries formed on the Godavari Pushkarams is holding a meeting at the State Secretariat on Friday, chaired by the Chief Secretary.
He said that since this is the first preliminary meeting regarding the Godavari Pushkarams, appropriate plans should be prepared from now on. He specifically instructed that micro-level plans should be prepared for the bathing ghats in each district and for the arrangements to be undertaken by each department.
The Chief Secretary directed that since twice the number of devotees are expected to participate in the 2027 Pushkarams compared to 2015, appropriate arrangements should be made accordingly. Various other issues are also being reviewed.

The meeting was attended by the Special Officer for Godavari Pushkarams and Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare G. Veerapandian, Endowments Department Secretary Hari Jawaharlal, Commissioner of the Endowments Department Ramachandra Mohan, RTGS CEO Prakhar Jain, and other officials. Similarly, Principal Secretaries S. Suresh Kumar and Shashi Bhushan Kumar, RTC MD Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, ADG Law and Order Madhusudan Reddy, Director I&PR K.S. Viswanathan, MD APTDC Amrapali, the collectors of six districts, and other officials participated virtually.
