A SYMBOL OF SERVICE — THE PRATEEK FOUNDATION.

A great service initiative undertaken by a father in memory of his son is now illuminating the lives of thousands of people. Its name is the “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation”.

Telangana State Minister Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy established this non-profit organization, the “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation,” in memory of his late son, Prateek Reddy, with the motto “Caring and Sharing”. From its inception to the present day, this foundation has achieved remarkable milestones, transcending politics and operating solely with a humanitarian perspective. The continuous service rendered by the “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation” is a great inspiration to society. In the field of social service in Telangana, the “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation” stands as a beacon of hope.

Regarding the social services undertaken and being undertaken by this organization, it is worth mentioning that this foundation, believing that social change is possible only through education, is spending crores of rupees on providing infrastructure to government educational institutions. In Nalgonda, it has constructed state-of-the-art buildings for the Prateek Memorial Government Boys Junior College and the Government Degree College at a cost of crores of rupees. Similarly, noticing the dilapidated condition of the 70-year-old Bottuguda Government School, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy constructed a four-story, state-of-the-art building for the Bottuguda schools. The “Komatireddy Prateek Foundation” has established computer labs and digital classrooms in government colleges, along with providing basic infrastructure. It has also taken special measures to provide better facilities for students in government hostels. For the bright future of the students, the foundation has provided books and study materials worth approximately 30 lakh rupees to universities, public libraries, study circles, and government college libraries.

Furthermore, the “Komatireddy Prateek Foundation” is providing financial support to underprivileged students who have secured seats in prestigious institutions such as IIT, NIT, NALSAR, AIIMS, Medical colleges, and Aviation Academies. The foundation has also established Laparoscopic surgery equipment and SNCU equipment for newborns at the Nalgonda district main hospital at a cost of 1.5 crore rupees. In addition to these, the “Komatireddy Prateek Foundation” has provided financial assistance for the modernization of the Bavita Centre and the Police Memorial Auditorium. The organization also provides free ambulance services on national highways and conducts special medical camps for eye examinations, cancer, and heart-related diseases. To empower the youth, the “Komatireddy Prateek Foundation” conducts mega job fairs in various universities, providing employment opportunities to thousands of people, and also enhances their professional skills through skill development programs. In addition to these, the “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation” is providing technical advice to farmers through the “Farmer Producer Organization,” along with quality seeds and assistance in constructing farm ponds. Through the ‘Swachh Shakti’ project, it is empowering 50 women by providing them with financial assistance of 50 lakh rupees and transforming them into entrepreneurs by setting up solar battery units. This foundation responds immediately in times of disasters or accidents.

Recently, the foundation’s announcement of 25 lakh rupees in financial assistance for the medical treatment of a boy injured in a stampede at a movie theater is a testament to its service-oriented approach.

Let us all hope that this “Komati Reddy Prateek Foundation” will serve as an inspiration to big industrialists, prominent businessmen, and producers, directors, and actors in the film industry across the country.
