Prohibition and Excise Commissioner C. Harikiran announced that the process of promotions and transfers in the Prohibition and Excise Department will be undertaken simultaneously soon.
A meeting of the Telangana Excise TNGOs Central Forum was held today at the Abkari Bhavan conference hall. At this meeting, the employees felicitated Prohibition and Excise Commissioner C. Harikiran with a shawl and a memento for giving promotions to 79 out of 551 employees in the Excise department and providing postings to all those who received promotions but had not yet received postings.
Speaking on this occasion, Harikiran said that he has completely resolved the issues related to promotions and postings of Excise employees. The Commissioner said that when TNGOs leaders Jagadish and Gnaneshwar brought the problems of the Excise employees to his attention, he resolved them completely. The Commissioner stated that special training programs will be organized soon to help employees acquire new skills. He said that promotions will be given to vacant posts after the retirement of the current incumbents. He added that there are chances of promotions and transfers for senior officers in the Excise department soon. Later, he felicitated the leaders and other officials of the TNGOs (Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers) who had come from all the districts of Telangana.
Joint Commissioners Chandraiah, Sridhar, Srinivas, and Seelam Srinivas, Assistant Secretary Services Nagalakshmi, Excise Central Forum President M. Gnaneshwar, Secretary Anil Kumar, and Treasurer Kranthi Kumar, along with district presidents, participated in this meeting.
