Exceptional skill in capturing the tiger: District Collector Kirti Chekuri extends special congratulations to the Pune rescue team.

AMARAVATI: District Collector Kirti Chekuri specially congratulated the Pune rescue team for capturing the tiger, which had caused a stir in the district for the past few days, using extremely careful and scientific methods.
She said that after the tiger was tranquilized on Friday night, it moved some distance towards the fields, and the forest department teams followed it vigilantly. The rescue team successfully caged the tiger without any incident. As soon as the tiger collapsed, the rescue teams reached the spot and implemented safety measures.
District Forest Officer B Prabhakara Rao stated that in this operation, which was conducted with the coordination of the Forest, Police, and Revenue departments, CCF Rajamahendravaram, District Collector Kirti Chekuri, SP, Joint Collector, RDOs, ACP North, DSP East, and DPR O, along with veterinary doctors Phanindra and Bhanu from Vizag Zoo, played a key role.
The village secretariat staff, police, forest, and revenue department personnel all worked tirelessly to make the operation a success.

On this occasion, District Forest Officer B. Prabhakara Rao said, “If the CCF had not taken the initiative and brought in a special rescue team from Pune, this operation would have become extremely difficult. Our forest department team leader David and his staff worked tirelessly day and night. Heartfelt thanks to District Collector Kirti Chekuri, and the officers and staff of the police and revenue departments for their cooperation,” She said. He revealed that arrangements have been completed to safely bring the captured tiger to Rajamahendravaram.
