The Telangana police have arrested and remanded a woman named Pratyusha, who was defrauding people, youth and young women, by claiming to be an IAS officer and the wife of a police officer, and extorting money.

Police have arrested the lady who was cheating the youth by posing as Dr. Pratyusha IAS. Saritha alias Pratyusha, a resident of Lavudi Thanda, Miryalaguda mandal, Nalgonda district, used to stay in the hostel under the guise of a student and steal the cell phones and cash of fellow young women.
Saritha has been targeting the rich for some time and has been cheating the youth by using various positions like being the daughter of a doctor, IAS, DSP. A year ago, Saritha had threatened a doctor and collected Rs. 5 lakhs.
Saritha had threatened to kill another young man if he did not give her money and collected more money. Three days ago, she called the police through Dial 100 and said that she was the wife of a DSP. Once, she called the police again and the young woman had been murdered. Saritha teased
Police have registered theft cases against Saritha at Chaitanyapuri, Uppal, Nalgonda Two Town, Miryalaguda One Town, Narketpally and Nalgonda police stations
Yesterday, Saritha was arrested in a theft case and was remanded after the facts came to light
