AMARAVATI: A World Bank delegation met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at the State Secretariat on Wednesday. The delegation praised the progress of Amaravati’s construction.
The World Bank team is of the opinion that the city will attract huge international investments due to the infrastructure being set up in Amaravati and IT-power sector reforms.
It was revealed that Amaravati will become a growth engine for the state. The team representatives told the Chief Minister that they hope that Amaravati will become a center for commercial activities with the development of infrastructure.
CM Chandrababu explained to the World Bank team that in addition to undertaking the construction of a world-class capital, they are working towards the comprehensive development of all parts of the state.
The Chief Minister said that plans have been made to develop the state into three regions.
