Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan, expressing strong dissatisfaction at the party’s general body meeting, said that they had built the party with great difficulty and would not tolerate anyone destroying it. He questioned whether they should remain silent while their own people were bringing disrepute to the party from within, and why they were not counter-attacking the opposition’s attacks.

The meeting, attended by MLAs, ministers, corporation chairmen, and senior leaders, focused on party discipline amidst controversies such as the Tirumala laddoo controversy. Pawan Kalyan expressed strong dissatisfaction with the leaders’ response to the YSRCP’s false propaganda.  Strongly counter the misinformation spread by the YSRCP regarding the Laddoo Prasad controversy and avoid silence that could harm the party. Speak on the issues, not personally; respond to criticism with facts, without resorting to violence or physical attacks.

Exercise utmost caution in matters concerning women to prevent the opposition from exploiting them politically. Ensure that no law and order problems arise; maintain peace, order, and discipline.

Organizational changes: Pawan announced that a 32-member disciplinary committee would be formed soon and that the Political Affairs Committee would be revamped. He questioned why there were leaders if he had to handle all communications himself.

Pawan Kalyan expressed his dissatisfaction with the attitude of the party leaders. He was furious that the Janasena leaders were completely failing to counter the misinformation and criticism being spread by the YSRCP.

He lamented the lack of unity and discipline in the party and the growing negligence among leaders after assuming positions. He made it clear that it is the responsibility of the leaders to counter those spreading lies with equal force. Pawan Kalyan expressed strong anger over the Aravam Sridhar issue.  He left the meeting midway in frustration. Speaking to Political Affairs Committee Chairman Nadendla Manohar, he ordered that a complete report be submitted on the performance of every party leader and the programs they have undertaken.

“Should I speak on every issue? Should I respond to everything? Then what are all of you here for?” Pawan Kalyan expressed his anger in a strong tone.  He reacted strongly to the fact that YSRCP leaders like Ambati Rambabu and Jogi Ramesh were criticizing the coalition government and him personally in harsh language, and that the party leaders were not condemning these remarks.

During the meeting, Pawan Kalyan left the venue in a state of extreme displeasure. Before leaving, he spoke to the party’s Political Affairs Committee Chairman, Nadendla Manohar, and instructed him to provide a comprehensive report on the performance of every party leader and the programs they have undertaken.

He also asked for information on what the MLAs are doing in their constituencies and how they are countering the criticisms from opponents on social media and at the grassroots level.
