K.S. Viswanathan takes charge as Director of Information and Public Relations, Andhra Pradesh

K.S. Vishwanathan took charge as the Director of Information and Public Relations Department of Andhra Pradesh on Monday.
After the government transferred Himanshu Shukla, who was the Director of Information and Public Relations Department, to Nellore Collector of Sri Potti Sriramulu District, Prakhar Jain was given additional charge of the Information and Public Relations Department.
The government recently issued orders appointing K.S. Vishwanathan, who is the Commissioner of Visakha Metropolitan Region Development Authority, as the Director of Information and Public Relations Department. In the past, he held the positions of Assistant Collector of Anantapur, Sub-Collector of Narasapuram, and Joint Collector of Prakasam and Visakhapatnam districts. In this context, senior officials, officers and staff of the Information and Public Relations Department congratulated Vishwanathan on assuming charge.
After assuming charge, the new director reviewed the activities of the department and the duties being performed with the officials.
