Amaravati, K. Vijayanand took charge as the ex-officio Special Chief Secretary of the CM.
After retiring as CS on February 28, the government appointed Vijayanand as the ex-officio Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister. He took charge at the first building of the State Secretariat on Monday.
He took charge after special pujas at the Vijayawada Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple and the blessings of TTD Vedic scholars.
On this occasion, several high-ranking officials, officials of various departments of the Secretariat, representatives of trade unions and others presented bouquets of flowers to Vijayanand and conveyed their best wishes.
