The talent of Goluguri Varshita, a girl who has become a pride not only of Andhra Pradesh but also of India, by showing outstanding talent in the field of sports at a young age, is priceless.

Goluguri Varshita, a student of class 9 at NSM Public School in Vijayawada, won the hearts of the authorities with her amazing talent in “kayaking” at a very young age.

The girl is currently undergoing professional training at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) Academy in Jagatpur, Bhubaneswar. Her brother Rayapa Reddy has been a constant source of encouragement and inspiration in her sports journey.

Varshitha receives expert training and guidance from her dedicated coaches – Johnson Sir, Dilip Sir, Rajkumar Sir, Neutral Sir and Najeez Madam, who have played a key role in shaping her skills.

At the 10th Inter SAI National Championships held at Blackwater SAI Academy in Alappuzha (Kerala) from October 6 to 9, Varshitha put up an extraordinary performance and won the following medals:

Silvar Medal – K1 (200 meters), Silver Medal – K1 (500 meters), Bronze Medal – K4 (500 meters)

These impressive achievements have brought immense joy and pride to the state and central governments, and to her family, coaches, NSM Public School teachers and friends. Sports fans wish Varshitha to grow even further in the future and represent India on the international stage. The Andhra Pradesh government should give the girl enough encouragement for that.
