In view of the presentation of the Andhra Pradesh annual budget for the 2026-27 financial year in the upcoming Assembly sessions, State Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav and Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita held a review meeting with senior police officials regarding the preliminary budget preparation.

During this meeting, they held extensive discussions on the allocation of necessary funds to the Home Department to further strengthen the maintenance of law and order in the state.

Officials briefed the ministers on matters such as the development of police department infrastructure, the use of modern technological equipment, and personnel requirements.

Finance Department Secretaries Vinay Kumar and Ronald Ross, Joint Secretary Gautam Allada, Home Department Secretary Vijay Kumar, Additional DG Madhusudan, IG Ravi Prakash, and several other key officials participated in this meeting.

The ministers clarified that the government will take steps to allocate adequate funds in the budget, prioritizing state security.
