Speaking at a high event organized by the Indian High Commission after the conclusion of the World Travel Market (WTM) – 2025 exhibition in London, Minister Kandula Durgesh said that he was happy to participate in the WTM 2025 exhibition and that it served as a good platform to provide wide publicity to the state’s tourism sector. Durgesh revealed that the future belongs entirely to tourism.

On this occasion, Minister Kandula Durgesh invited international tourism representatives who came to the WTM conference to AP. Stating that AP tourism has industrial status and a new tourism policy has been released, Durgesh urged investors to “Come to AP… Visit local tourist places.. Invest in tourism and hospitality sectors and contribute to the development of AP tourism.”

He said that tourism is a game-changer in the development of the state and in this process, AP tourism development will get ample support from CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and the Centre.

He recalled CM Chandrababu Naidu’s comments on the occasion that tourism has a better future than communism, socialism and capitalism. He revealed that in the last 15 months, tourism investments worth Rs. 12,000 crore have been attracted.

He said that there are opportunities for investment in eco, adventure and beach tourism, besides, Andhra Pradesh is an ideal place for wellness centers and Ayurveda centers. He mentioned that Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is paying special attention to eco-tourism.

He said that we are providing power subsidies and other incentives for tourism projects and are working towards making AP a model for the country and making it number one in the tourism sector.  On this occasion, investors were invited to a partnership summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.

Minister Durgesh said that India is a confluence of different races, religions and cultures. Stating that unity is their strength, he raised the slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. On this occasion, he said that they are taking steps towards the goal of Vikshith Bharat.
