A team of experts from Pune specializing in tranquilizer injections has arrived in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari district to capture the tiger roaming in the area. Preparations are underway for its capture soon. The forest department has set up special surveillance in the areas where the tiger is roaming.

A special team of anesthesia injection experts from Pune, Maharashtra, has arrived in Rajahmundry, East Godavari district, to capture the tiger that has been causing confusion among the people of Rajahmundry for the past three days.
The Collector stated that forest department officials are taking all necessary measures to safely capture the tiger.
All schools within a 5-kilometer radius of the areas where the tiger is roaming remain closed today as well. She stated that orders have been issued to the education department officials regarding the implementation of the holidays.
The tiger’s movements are under continuous surveillance using drone technology, and a special team of wildlife rescue and anesthesia injection experts from Pune is making arrangements to capture the tiger.
All necessary measures are being taken to safely capture the tiger, and officials are keeping a close watch on the tiger’s movements in the areas where it is roaming.
The Collector advised against sharing photos and videos of the tiger on personal social media platforms. She also stated that if anyone has information about the tiger’s movements, they should inform the nearest police, revenue, or forest officials.
Collector Keerthi Chekuri appealed to the public not to attack the tiger and to remain vigilant. He also warned against causing unnecessary fear and panic among the public.

The Collector stated that the tiger’s movements are currently being observed in the outskirts of Divancheruvu village, and that forest officials, after obtaining permission from the Chief Wildlife Warden, have a chance to capture the tiger today with the help of experts.
