Tiger roaming in Andhra Pradesh Polavaram District Devipatnam Ramadurgam hills – Forest Department evacuates visitors to safety

(Five-Star Rating News service by Google) AMARAVATI – The authorities were alerted after receiving information about the presence of a large tiger in the Ramadurgam Konda area of Devipatnam mandal in Andhra Pradesh agency area of Polavaram district. About 50 visitors from Rajanagaram mandal had gone to Ramadurgam Konda for a yatra and were trapped there due to the presence of a tiger.
The concerned officials responded immediately after knowing this. The information was conveyed to the Deputy CM’s office, Polavaram District Collector and Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) through MP Purandeswari’s office.
The forest department officials took immediate action and sent special teams with the help of tractors to safely evacuate the visitors there. The forest officials are taking coordinated action by reviewing the situation and providing information at every stage.
The officials, who have identified tigers in the Godavari coastal area of Devipatnam mandal for the last five days, have advised the people to be alert. Officials said that the situation was faced by visitors who went to Ramadurgam hill without complete information about the tiger’s movement.

Forest department officials have issued warnings to the public, advising them to seek information from the relevant authorities before going to forest areas and to take precautions against going to forest areas alone or in groups.
