State Health Minister Satyakumar Yadav said that CM Chandrababu saved the state from the Montha disaster by taking planned and early measures.

He said that there was no loss of life and property due to the measures taken by Chief Minister Chandrababu, who has long administrative experience, as the head of the family. As soon as the warnings about the intensity of the cyclone were received from the Meteorological Department, CM Chandrababu stayed in the “Real Time Governance System” (Centre) in the Secretariat and gave instructions and orders on the measures to be taken from the state level to the village secretariats.

He also said that due to the newly issued SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) by the Health Department, doctors and staff have performed their duties and are on duty up to 99.1%. Minister Satyakumar spoke to reporters who met him in his chamber in the State Secretariat on Wednesday.

Minister Sri Satyakumar said that the CM’s actions, which were analyzed in accordance with the intensity of the cyclone, have yielded positive results.

He said that the actions taken by CM Chandrababu Naidu in accordance with the mandal-wise rainfall records in the district have also shown his long experience in the field of administration. He said that Prime Minister Modi himself spoke to Chandrababu, who is the guardian of the state, and a special command control center has been set up in the PM’s office to collect details. He said that Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda also spoke to him. He said that the Center has assured that it is ready to provide necessary cooperation to the state.

He said that about 2,500 pregnant women who are close to giving birth have been shifted to nearby hospitals. He said that special medical camps have been set up in rehabilitation centers. Anti-snake venom, anti-rabies vaccine and other emergency medicines have been made available in the districts.

He said that boat clinics have also been set up in the areas where fishermen live. He said that some ambulances of Emergency (108), 104 (mobile medicine) have been specially prepared for relief operations. He said that steps have been taken to deal with 588 emergency calls.

Since the issuance of warnings by the Meteorological Center, the Medical and Health Department has been fully alert and has taken preventive measures, and officials from the lowest to the highest levels have acted with impunity.

Although there was some concern about the impact of the cyclone initially, Minister Satyakumar Yadav commented that we have come out of the disaster due to the continuous reviews of CM Chandrababu.
Precautions should be taken. From now on, people should follow personal and environmental hygiene to prevent the spread of diseases in the cyclone areas. They should drink boiled and filtered water. People should be a little careful for another 4 days, the minister said.
