The theft of Parakamani at Tirumala is an intolerable crime. Jagan, who ridiculed this as a minor case, must apologize to the Hindu community. All the officials from various departments who were present at the time of the theft are complicit in the crime. The case investigation must be intensified, and the culprits must be given stringent punishments.

TDP Politburo member Varla Ramaiah demanded that Jagan should offer a public apology to crores of Hindu devotees. He lashed out, saying that Jagan had hurt the sentiments of Hindus by calling the Parakamani incident a petty theft.
He said that even the High Court had expressed surprise regarding the investigation into the Parakamani case. He explained that the High Court had once again reminded that theft is not possible in the Parakamani and that it is a matter related to the sentiments of the devotees.
He said that the High Court, after observing the Parakamani case, ordered a thorough investigation by an Additional Director General of Police. He criticized the then officials, police, and public representatives for mishandling the Parakamani case.
Doesn’t Jaganmohan Reddy know that Rs. 14.5 crores were received as a gift from the accused Ravi Kumar in the Parakamani case, which is against the law? He must answer the public about the real secret behind this huge sum of money.
It is becoming clear that Jagan has a hand in the attempts to settle this case in the Lok Adalat. He might have known about this settlement in advance, he added. Jagan’s act of referring to the diversion of offerings made by millions of devotees in the temple hundi as a “minor theft” is utterly reprehensible.
In Jagan’s view, is it only a major crime if lakhs of crores of rupees are looted? Isn’t stealing the faith of ordinary devotees a crime? They demanded that Jagan publicly apologize to the Hindus.
In a secular country, everyone has the responsibility to respect every religion and its customs. Irregularities in the temple’s offering collection (Parakamani) constitute an insult to the religious beliefs of that faith. Making derogatory remarks about any religion is an unforgivable crime.
Such comments lead to hatred in society. Hindu elders and Swamijis are demanding that Jaganmohan Reddy apologize today, they said.
In this case, the then police officers, district officials, the board chairman, and the executive chairman all committed wrongdoing. Even the EO, Dharma Reddy, supported the person who committed the theft. All the systems were in favor of the thief.

The suspicion that an attempt is being made to protect the culprits is strongly being expressed by the public. Engaging in corruption in the matter of Parakamani, which is intertwined with devotion and faith, is not only sacrilege but also a grave injustice to society. TDP Politburo member Varla Ramaiah demanded that the case be investigated quickly.
