Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao have issued instructions to party leaders to hold grievance redressal meetings in every constituency every Friday, and party leaders should be responsible for discipline and responsiveness to public issues.
On Wednesday, he addressed key leaders of the state party from the TDP central office in Mangalagiri and expressed his dissatisfaction over the manner in which grievance redressal meetings are being held at the constituency level.
If local leaders had resolved the problems of the people effectively, there would have been no need for about 4,000 citizens to approach Minister Nara Lokesh Praja Darbar for a solution, Srinivas Rao commented.
As per the orders of the party’s national general secretary, Shri Nara Lokesh, grievance redressal meetings should be held in every constituency on Friday. On the same day, he said, constituency leaders should hold review meetings to ensure that local issues are not resolved.
He called on key leaders of the state TDP party to form party committees from village level to constituency level on November 15.
The Telugu Desam Party is not just a political organisation – it is a disciplined party. He expressed concern that the behaviour of some leaders could tarnish the party’s image by deviating from the party line.
He warned that such people will not be tolerated and disciplinary action will be taken against them. He suggested strengthening the party cadre, conducting regular field visits and ensuring that the party is connected to facts.
He warned that YSRCP leaders are trying to sow discord among the alliance leaders, and urged TDP workers to exercise restraint, act maturely and counter false information on social media with facts.

Srinivasa Rao said that discipline should be the cornerstone of every leader’s behaviour and that the party’s reputation depends on the integrity and accountability of its members.
