AMARAVATI: (Delhi) The passing of the bill in both the houses of the state, naming the capital of Andhra Pradesh as Amaravati, is a matter of great joy and fulfillment of the aspirations of the people, farmers and women of Andhra Pradesh, said State Education, IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh.
Nara Lokesh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other central government leaders in Delhi today for passing the bill in both the houses of the state, giving legal status to Amaravati as the sole capital of AP. He met the Prime Minister along with NDA MPs in Delhi.
