Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu congratulated the students who studied in the social welfare schools of the state and succeeded in IIT, NIT and NEET this year.

He advised them to work harder and show their talent in higher studies. In addition to shaping the future brightly, the Chief Minister hoped to bring a good name to the state and the country.

The number of students selected for national level competitive examinations from social welfare educational institutions should increase four times next year. The students who have now secured ranks should go to their previous educational institutions and inspire the students there, the Chief Minister told the students.

The Chief Minister instructed the officials to set up 7 more IIT-NEET coaching centers this year. The newly set up centers will benefit 1,411 SC and ST students. The Chief Minister said that they are ready to spend any amount for the students of the poor and weaker sections.

At the end of the meeting, he personally presented mementos and a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh each to the students who secured seats in IIT, NIT and NEET and took photos with them separately. A total of 55 students were given Rs. 55 lakh. The Chief Minister expressed happiness that all the students came from poverty and showed their best talent.

55 SC and ST students who secured seats in IIT, NIT and NEET met the Chief Minister at the Secretariat on Monday and thanked him for the encouragement provided by the state government.
