AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu today laid the foundation stone for the Amaravati Quantum Valley (AQV) at Uddandarayunipalem village in Thullur mandal of the Amaravati capital region.
This event marks a significant step in establishing Amaravati as a hub dedicated to quantum computing and deep tech innovation in India.
The state government has allocated approximately 50 acres of land for this ambitious project.
Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, attended as the chief guest.
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh and various technology experts from India and abroad were also present.
Project Highlights: AQV aims to foster quantum research, innovation, talent development, and industry collaborations, featuring partnerships with IBM, TCS, and L&T for quantum cloud services and a 156-qubit quantum center.
The launches included the AQV logo, the IBM-TCS Quantum Innovation Center, the Quantum Talent Hub, the Quantum Reference Facility, and a quantum-safe app by QClairvoyance Quantum Labs. To increase private sector involvement in the quantum ecosystem, nine Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed with companies. The broader goals of this initiative are to support India’s quantum tech priorities, competing with global hubs like Silicon Valley with pilot projects in governance, healthcare, and aerospace.
The Quantum Valley in Amaravati represents a major step forward towards deep-tech innovation. Under the leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, it positions the state as India’s quantum computing hub.

It aligns with India’s National Quantum Mission and includes the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub to skill young people in quantum technology.
