QPIAI will be a partner in the ambitious Amaravati Quantum Valley undertaken by the state government. QPIAI will also be a partner in the Quantum Valley being set up in Amaravati, the first of its kind in the country as part of the National Quantum Mission. In this, QPIAI has come forward to set up an advanced 8-qubit quantum computer.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu discussed this issue with the founder of the organization, Nagendra Nagarajan. The CM said that this center should be set up to facilitate innovations that are useful for the benefit of the people, as well as for the research of students. Along with this, the Chief Minister asked QPIAI to also set up a Center of Excellence in Amaravati.

The Chief Minister expressed the view that this will create an opportunity for students, researchers and startups to create quantum algorithms and applications.

Quantum computing services in various fields The Chief Minister hoped that quantum computing would be used to assess the accuracy and pest-related aspects of the cultivation of various crops in the state.

At the same time, the CM said that this technology should help improve farmers’ income by providing timely suggestions and advice to increase agricultural production.

He said that quantum technology should be used to effectively manage water resources in the state. The state government believes that quantum simulation can be used effectively in areas such as disease diagnosis, medical logistics and others.

The government is also planning to take the help of quantum technology in providing skills to the youth. The government is taking action to improve the social and economic conditions of the common people through modern technology like quantum.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu clarified that QPIAI, National Quantum Mission and Amaravati Quantum Valley are working towards providing wider benefits to the society through deep tech in the fields of education, research and innovation.
