AP CM Chandrababu Naidu condemned the attack on the headquarters of Maha News, a leading media channel in Telugu states He said that it is atrocious that the thugs attacked the channel’s office in Hyderabad and created havoc.
CM Chandrababu opined that there is no place for such attacks in a democracy. The AP CM made it clear that the idea of restraining the media with threats and attacks is not good.. The people and the society will not accept this.
CM Chandrababu expressed solidarity with the management, staff and journalists of Maha News.
Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union (APJU) condemns
Andhra Pradesh Journalists Union (APJU) General Secretary and All India Newspaper Employees Association (AINEAS) National Vice President Chaladi Poorna Chandra Rao has strongly condemned the attack on Vamsi and other staff members and on Maha TV.
He has urged Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and DGP to immediately arrest the accused and protect media freedom.
