Rajamhandravaram Rural TDP MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdhury has called on all the people not to worry and to be alert in view of the cyclone conditions.
He advised people to move to safe places as the cyclone is currently blowing at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour and there is a possibility of heavy rains during its passage.
MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdhury has continuously focused on the safety of the people. He spoke to District Collector Kirti Chekuri and officials of the relevant departments over the telephone from Hyderabad and got to know the details about the impact of the cyclone, rainfall, wind intensity, and arrangements for rehabilitation centers.
A review was held on the evacuation of people, necessary facilities and relief measures.
According to the details received, the officials are working in coordination in the cyclone-affected zones. Steps have been taken to ensure that essential facilities like drinking water, electricity and food are available at each rehabilitation centre. He said that special teams are ready to respond immediately in case of any emergency.
MLA Gorantla appealed to the people of low-lying areas and those living in damaged houses to go to the safe centres set up by the government. He advised them not to make unnecessary journeys during the cyclone and to follow the instructions of local authorities.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Konidala Pawan Kalyan and ministers are constantly monitoring the impact of the cyclone and the coalition government will do everything possible to ensure the safety of the people, said MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdhury.
