His name is Pratap, he is only 21 years old..
Kadaikudi is his own village near Mysore, Karnataka. His father was a simple farmer..
He was a poor man..He was first in his class since childhood, but he could not finish his studies..due to finance .
He worked in bus stops, worked in public toilets, and with a little help from a friend, he learned C++, Java, Python, etc..
He used to collect e-waste from friends and offices, such as keyboards, mice, motherboards and other computer equipment, and conduct research on them..
He used to go to electronic companies in Mysore and collect e-waste items and build a drone. He started trying to make it..
He would study and work during the day, and experiment at night..After about 80 attempts, the drone he made flew into the air..
Meanwhile, the news came that drone competitions were going to be held in Delhi..He won the 2nd prize in that competition..In addition, he got the opportunity to go to Japan and participate in the world’s drone competition there..
Later, with the help of donors, Pratap showed India’s strength by participating in drone competitions in Japan, where representatives from a total of 127 countries participated. He presented drone models to them and showed the performance of the drone..First, the 3rd prize was announced, and in the meantime, the last announcement was made, Mr Pratap, won First Prize, From INDIA..
Along with the first prize, he received 10,000 dollars as a prize. (Approximately 7 lakh rupees)
The Japanese authorities told Pratap, “We will give you a monthly salary of 16 lakhs, a plot in Paris and a car worth 2.5 crores. From here, you can come to our country..” He thanked them and returned home. “I did not do all this for money. My intention is to serve my motherland..” He thanked them and returned home.in India
The local BJP MLA and MP came to know about this..They went to his house and congratulated him and gave the boy an appointment with Prime Minister Modiji..Modiji congratulated him and referred him to DRDO..Now he has been appointed as a scientist in the drone department in DRDO..He travels abroad for 28 days a month and brings drone supply orders to DRDO.
