In Andhra Pradesh, the police play a crucial role in maintaining law and order, preventing crimes, and ensuring public safety. The state has taken significant steps to control crime and utilize technology and community participation.

NTR District Central Crime Station CP Rajasekhar has done full justice to the police profession. Speaking to the Bharat News Bureau Chief today,

the CP stated that they considered the recent major theft case at the Ingram Micro India Private Limited warehouse in the Enikepadu area under the Patamata Police Station limits as a highly critical case and took it up as a challenge as part of a special investigation.

Based on the technology currently available, they successfully solved the case in a very short time, recovering 271 Apple phones and various other devices worth approximately Rs. 3 crores, and arresting the accused. The CP and their group of his  have earned a good reputation for the AP state police force.

For demonstrating outstanding performance in the field of crime investigation in this case, the NTR District Central Crime Station police have secured the first position in the state.  City Police Commissioner S.V. Rajasekhara Babu and crime police officers received the ABCD (Award for Best Crime Detection) awards from DGP Harish S. Samar Gupta, setting an example for the state police personnel.

On this occasion, police officers who adopted modern technological methods and innovative approaches for the speedy resolution of crimes were recognized and honored with awards. Rajasekhar stated that the CID department comprehensively reviewed the cases that showed outstanding performance across the state during the first quarter of 2025 and selected them for the awards.

Speaking on the occasion, CP S.V. Rajasekhar Babu said that this success was possible due to the collective efforts and technical expertise of the NTR district police and congratulated the staff, urging them to maintain the same level of performance in the future.
