Some state governments are publishing untruthful news on the center, which is destroying the freedom of expression of the people of the country. Some non-RNI newspapers are publishing untruthful news and causing trouble to the people.

Especially in the two Telugu states, innumerable PDF newspapers are creating fake news through social media, senior journalists of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh state S Narahari Nageswara Prasad, PRGI have urged to take action against these. As per the complaint,

The Press Registrar General of India has conducted a detailed study and prepared the ground for the closure of newspapers without RNI.

It has issued strict orders and has instructed that in future, news from newspapers without RNI should not be taken as authentic and that legal action should not be taken if false news is published. It has also issued orders to fully incorporate the words to be used in the language of the newspaper. Taking note of this, the district civil relations officers of the state have been instructed to collect complete information about newspapers without RNI and send it to the state offices.
