Speed, coordination and transparency – these are the true meaning of technology when used in the service of the people, said Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao. today.

In that direction, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the introduction of the Real-Time Incident Management System (IMS) will usher in a new era in Andhra Pradesh governance.

Setting a new benchmark in citizen-centric governance, Sri Srinivasa Rao said the government has converted the existing Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) into a modern, technology-based Incident Management System (IMS).

With this reform, every public grievance or issue arising at the field level will now reach the government in real time.  The concerned departments will respond immediately and will continue to monitor the issue till it is completely resolved, he explained.

He said that this initiative is a revolutionary step forward in governance, which will ensure speedy response, transparency and consistent accountability in resolving the issues of the citizens.

IMS, which operates under the aegis of Real-Time Governance Society (RTGS), enables real-time monitoring of issues arising in various districts and departments. For every complaint or incident, the concerned officials – including the Minister, Secretary, District Collector and Superintendent of Police – are added to a dedicated IMS WhatsApp group. These groups will remain active till the issue is resolved, explained Shri Srinivasa Rao.

Citizens can also track the status of their complaints on the IMS dashboard, which ensures complete transparency. With this initiative, the gap between the citizen’s issue and the government’s response can be effectively bridged.  This is not just administrative efficiency – it is a governance revolution,” he stressed.

Sri Srinivasa Rao described IMS as a result of the visionary leadership of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and the technological foresight of IT Minister Nara Lokesh. Together, he said, they have laid the foundation for a new paradigm of responsive and accountable governance.

From real-time governance to IMS, every reform introduced under Shri Naidu’s leadership reaffirms his belief that technology should act as a bridge between the government and the people. His foresight has positioned Andhra Pradesh as a model state in digital governance, he said.

With systems like RTGS and IMS, Andhra Pradesh has entered a new phase of administrative transformation that emphasizes not only service delivery but also problem prevention.

“The aim is not just to respond quickly, but to anticipate problems in advance and resolve them before they escalate,” said Sri Srinivasa Rao.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary policy direction and Minister Nara Lokesh  He concluded that the technological leadership has taken Andhra Pradesh’s governance model to a whole new level – a model that stands as a guide for digital transformation for the rest of the country.
