Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said at the felicitation program of Cyclone Montha fighters that they faced the Montha cyclone effectively with team spirit and that this spirit should be continued in the future.
On Saturday, the CM presented mementos and certificates to 137 people who showed exceptional talent during the Montha cyclone at the camp office. Every crisis is an opportunity for us…I would like to thank everyone in the state on behalf of all the people who were able to reduce the damage caused by the cyclone this time.
He said that the government machinery and public representatives worked wonderfully in coordination. He said that this cyclone experience should be made a manual for disaster operations in the future. The Chief Minister said that the damage caused by Cyclone Montha was reduced as a result of the NDA coalition government moving forward in coordination with everyone.
The state has two problems… One is drought in Rayalaseema, and the second is cyclones in coastal Andhra. With efficient water management and construction of projects, we have made Rayalaseema drought-free today. In the past, a hurricane came… We were able to bring normal conditions to both Godavari districts within a week to 10 days.
This time, we have prepared a team with talented officers to face Cyclone Montha. They all worked wonderfully… We provided them with technology support. We faced the cyclone effectively through artificial intelligence models. We reduced the damage by following a 5 Point formula of monitoring, alert mechanism, rescue mechanism, rehabilitation, normalcy.. We reviewed the situation from time to time with the Aware 2.0 system and sent warnings in real time. We monitored the impact of rain, wind intensity, etc. with technology and took precautions and warnings.
We ensured that as much as possible, there was no loss of property and life from the biggest storm, the Chief Minister said. We also saved the lives of those caught in the storm through drones. We were able to save a person named Sheikh Munna who was being swept away in the Parchur stream and 15 people who were trapped in a prayer hall. This was possible with the collective efforts of everyone. We also prepared 602 drones in advance.
We prepared an SOP and conducted flood management through satellites, drones, and CCTV cameras and sent alerts to the field level from time to time.
Ministers, MLAs, and MPs alerted everyone at the field level and stood guard. From the CS level to the village level, everyone worked together to save the people. NDRF, SDRF, police all worked well.
We have shown what kind of results can be achieved if everyone works together. We have organized this program to recognize those who have done well and inspire everyone. People should also receive this inspiration. The government also needs their cooperation. The Chief Minister said.

Now the Chief Minister said that warnings have been sent through microphones installed in villages through RTGS. The Chief Minister announced that a warning system is being set up from the capital to the village level soon.
