A Jana Sainik Mella Raju, who died of blood cancer in Kanur Agraharam village, Peravali mandal, Nidadavolu constituency, East Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, has decided to stand by the family. In this order, they collected donations, thinking that they would help the family of the Jana Sainik who walked with them and stood by them financially.

In this context, they met Minister Kandula Durgesh, who visited Kanur village on Saturday, and explained the matter. Later, Minister Kandula Durgesh visited the Mella Raju family and presented a cheque of Rs. 1 lakh collected as a donation with the Jana Sainiks to the victim’s family.

The victim’s family expressed happiness on this occasion. Minister Durgesh appreciated the generosity of the Jana Sainiks. On this occasion, Minister Durgesh said that they will do their part to support the party.  He assured the family not to lose hope.

Later, as part of the ICDS project, 131 Anganwadi centers in Nidadavolu constituency, out of 211 Anganwadi centers with their own Anganwadi buildings, were upgraded to Saksham Anganwadi centers. Minister Kandula Durgesh distributed TVs, water filters and sports items to the respective centers.
