AMARAVATI: The Chief Minister has Ordered that ministers and secretaries must tour the field level to understand public issues and the functioning of the administration. He said they should directly observe how the decisions and policies taken by the government are being implemented at the ground level.
The CM opined that no matter how many decisions are made at the top level, the desired results will not be achieved if the policies are not effectively implemented at the field level.
A meeting of ministers and secretaries was held on Monday. In this meeting, the Chief Minister gave directions to the state government machinery on various issues.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials to take precautionary measures to prevent water scarcity in view of the approaching summer season. Plans should be made to double the GSDP and per capita income every five years. Per capita income is a symbol of people’s living standards. Estimates should be made carefully regarding key performance indicators.
P4 is a special program to reduce economic inequalities in the state. Measures should be taken to support poor families. Some districts are witnessing remarkable development.
These districts appear to have the potential for even greater growth in the future. There are opportunities for “saffron cultivation in Lambasingi, Alluri district” . Until now, saffron has been cultivated only in Kashmir. Also, a Cocoa City is being established near Eluru, the first of its kind in the country. We are increasing coffee cultivation and promoting the Araku coffee brand; this needs to grow even further Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu explained this.
Through Sanjeevani, a health screening of 66 lakh high-risk cases should be completed by July 2026. Screening should also be conducted for 5 lakh hostel students. Health profiles of 70 lakh students up to the 12th grade should be prepared. He said that maternal and child health and development should be recorded through Care and Grow. Measures should be taken to provide nutritious food and necessary supplements.
Regarding pregnant women, efforts should be made to increase normal deliveries and reduce cesarean sections. There is a need to increase awareness among the public in this regard.
A 100-day action plan should be strictly implemented to achieve excellent results in the tenth grade. This action plan should ensure that there is no stress related to exams. He said that stress should not be the reason for students to commit suicide.
New ideas and opportunities for new innovations will arise only with a stress-free education system. The cooperation of DWCRA women should be sought to achieve better results in adult education. Andhra Pradesh is at the forefront of the Central government’s Karmayogi scheme. Private organizations should focus on providing skills to the youth under corporate social responsibility.
The extent to which jobs are being created along with skilling should also be monitored through the skills portal.
