12 crores original cash found in Karnataka Congress MLA’s house. ED arrests Karnataka Congress MLA KC Veerendra in illegal online and offline betting case.

A bundle of 500 rupee notes. 12 crores of Indian currency. In Karnataka, the Enforcement Directorate has found bundles of crores of notes in 30 places related to a Congress MLA. The ED has arrested Karnataka Congress MLA KC Virendra in an illegal online and offline betting case. The MLA was found in Gangtok, Sikkim.
The ED officials who conducted searches in the houses of this MLA and his close associates seized 12 crores of cash, 6 crores worth of gold ornaments, 10 kg of silver ornaments, and four luxury cars.
The officials were shocked to find that up to one crore of this 12 crores of money was also in foreign currency. The ED has also frozen 17 bank accounts and two bank lockers in this case. The ED officials have also seized documents related to illegal assets in the names of MLA Veerendra’s brother KC Nagaraj and his son N Raj. The ED has found that KC Thippeswamy and Prithvi N Raj are running this online gaming business from Dubai.
The ED investigation revealed that the MLA is directly involved in this case. MLA Veerendra was arrested and according to the proceedings, he was first produced before the Gangtok Judicial Magistrate. Not only a betting business, the investigation revealed that the MLA also has five casinos in Goa.
ED inspections revealed that MLA KC Veerendra is running online betting sites under the names of King 567, Raja 567, Puppies 003 and Ratna Gaming. He is looking after Diamond Softech, TRS Technologies and Prime 9 Technologies, which belong to his brother KC Thippeswamy MLA in Dubai. All three were found to be call centres belonging to the gaming business during investigation.
