AMARAVATI: We are working for water security across the state. We should stop the running water, store the stagnant water..We should try to put the stagnant water in the reservoir. We have made many efforts like inkudu pits, check dams, drip irrigation, micro irrigation to conserve water and move forward.

We have taken soil from crop pits, canals, and ponds and applied it to the fields. We have taken up many programs like trenches, Neeru Chettu, Neeru-Meer, Neeru-Pragati through NTR Jalasiri. We are organizing such programs with partners like farmers and irrigation associations in the water security program. Said Chandrababu Naidu.

The Chief Minister released the 100-day action plan after participating in a program titled ‘Jaladhara..Water Security-Responsibility of Irrigation Associations’ in Yadiki, Anantapur district. Later, the Chief Minister unveiled an app designed under the title of Water Security-Irrigation Water Associations’ Responsibility.

He said that we are moving forward according to a plan for the development of Rayalaseema, and Rs. 30 thousand crores will be received through the Purvodaya scheme introduced by the Center. We will develop by earning another Rs. 70 thousand crores through investments. There have been many changes in terms of water security in the past 21 months. We have been able to fill the tanks on a large scale.’ He said.

The Chief Minister said that groundwater should be available at a depth of 6 meters before the monsoon season and less than 3 meters after it. He said that this would ensure that there is no water shortage in the state. ‘If the reservoirs are full, we will have the opportunity to use it from time to time,’ Chandrababu said.

Our capital is Amaravati

Now we have only one capital city. Out of 50 parties in Parliament, 49 parties except YSRCP supported Amaravati. Only the misguided YSRCP betrayed the state. They have come up with a new name, Mavigan’. People who don’t even like to say Amaravati call it Mavigan.

We have taken the responsibility of taking AP to the top by 2047. We have also prepared plans for this. From Uttarandhra to West Godavari, Visakhapatnam to Prakasam-Nellore, Amaravati and Tirupati will be developed as development regions in Rayalaseema,’ he expressed hope.

Our goal is to provide efficient and accountable governance to everyone. The state is my family. It is our responsibility to do justice to everyone. Despite financial difficulties, we are providing assistance through Super Six schemes. If investments come… then only can we provide welfare. Chandrababu said.

After the meeting, JC Pawan Reddy presented the Amaravati souvenir to the CM as a symbol of the approval of Amaravati’s legality in Parliament. Ministers Nimmala Ramanaidu, Payyavula Keshav, local MLA Asmit Reddy, MPs and district public representatives participated in this program.
