Bharat News Amaravathi ..Indian Coast Guard Ship ‘Amulya’, the third in the series of eight new-generation Adamya-class Fast Patrol Vessels, has been commissioned in Goa. This 51-metre vessel designed and built by Goa Shipyard Limited represents a new benchmark in indigenous shipbuilding. With more than 60% indigenous components, the ship underscores India’s steady progress towards defence self-reliance.

Fitted with indigenous state-of-the-art weapons/systems, offering superior manoeuvrability, operational flexibility and enhanced performance at sea, the ship will undertake a range of missions, including surveillance, interdiction, Search & Rescue, anti-smuggling operations & pollution response, reinforcing ICG’s role in safeguarding the eastern seaboard
