With the threat of Cyclone Monta creating uncertainty along the Andhra Pradesh coast, TDP State President Sri Palla Srinivasa Rao has issued a clarion call for citizens to be alert.

With the India Meteorological Department issuing a Red Alert, the highest alert level, it is now up to the district administrations to take precautionary measures as per the orders issued by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.

The cyclone is expected to affect the state from October 26 to 29, with strong winds and heavy rains expected from Srikakulam to Tirupati, which is likely to test the resilience of communities accustomed to natural disasters.

The Chief Minister asked the officials to implement emergency response plans without delay and ensure that essential services are uninterrupted throughout.

He called on TDP leaders and grassroots volunteers to physically stay on the predicted path of the cyclone and coordinate with local authorities to ensure that no citizen faces adversity alone.

Party cadres should act as protectors of the people and provide assistance wherever needed, said Sri Srinivasa Rao, stressing that community solidarity often serves as the foundation for a speedy recovery in Andhra Pradesh. His appeal emphasizes both civic responsibility and the dignity inherent in collective vigilance.
